HUMAN LIVER sc/sn/SPATIAL CATALOG
Knowledge base
Human liver sc/sn/spatial catalog
Who has already sequenced the human liver, and what did they leave behind for you to reuse? Every study here profiled human liver material by single-cell, single-nucleus or spatial transcriptomics, all screened against one set of eligibility rules. Disease context, cohort size, spatial platform and public accessions were pulled out field by field, so you can filter your way to the right dataset instead of reading every abstract yourself. Bulk RNA-seq, scATAC-seq and validation-only FISH or IHC do not qualify.
Filters
Cohort sizes are the counts stated by the authors; where a study reports several sub-cohorts the sorting number is the first or explicitly total count, so read the full text on the card before quoting it. Records badged abstract only were screened on title and abstract without the manuscript, so their fields are correspondingly incomplete; the rest are badged full text.
How each field was defined
| Field | Definition | Values |
|---|---|---|
| Evidence Status | Level at which eligibility was checked for inclusion in the catalog. | Full-text confirmed; Title/abstract screened — full text unretrieved |
| Year | Publication or posting year available in the bibliographic record. | Four-digit year; Not reported |
| Journal or Server | Publication venue, preprint server, or other hosting venue listed in bibliographic metadata. | Free text; Not reported |
| Journal Quartile | Journal quality quartile provided in bibliographic metadata for the publication venue. | Q1; Q2; Q3; Q4; Not reported (preprint, conference record, or unavailable) |
| Study Identifier | A persistent study identifier when verified, otherwise a verification status. | DOI; PMID; trial identifier; canonical title; Not independently verified |
| Public Data Availability | Whether the study explicitly reports public deposition of its own generated data, with repository and accession or link when stated. | Yes — [repository]: [accession/link or dataset name]; No public repository stated; Not established in title/abstract |
| Modality | Qualifying transcriptomic assay or assay combination used to study human liver material. | scRNA-seq; snRNA-seq; spatial Omics; scRNA-seq + snRNA-seq; scRNA-seq + spatial Omics; snRNA-seq + spatial Omics; scRNA-seq + snRNA-seq + spatial Omics; Not established in available text |
| Biological Context | Requested disease or tissue-context categories explicitly stated for directly profiled human liver material. | healthy; tumor; cirrhosis; MASLD; transplant; combinations joined by +; None of requested categories stated |
| Human Liver Individuals Profiled | Number and type of unique human donors, patients, or individuals whose liver material was profiled by the qualifying assay. | Free-text count with cohort descriptors; Not reported in available text; Ambiguous |
| Spatial Omics Platform | Named platform used for a qualifying spatial transcriptomic or spatial gene-expression assay. | Examples: 10x Visium; MERFISH; NanoString GeoMx DSP; Molecular Cartography; multiple platforms separated by semicolons; Not applicable—no spatial omics in qualifying assay; Not reported in available text |
| Cohort/Platform Evidence Basis | Textual evidence available for the cohort-size and spatial-platform fields. | Full text; Title/abstract only |
| Study Focus | Concise statement of the study’s primary objective. | Free text, action-led objective |
| Main Results | Up to four concise, study-level findings. | Bulleted free text; fewer than four bullets when available text is limited |
